Welcome to Creative Corner Montessori! My name is Ashween Kour, and I am the founder and dedicated educator behind this nurturing and inspiring Montessori dayhome. With over 8 years of experience in early childhood education and classroom supervision, I have devoted my career to creating engaging, developmentally appropriate, and joyful learning environments for young children.

I hold a Master of Arts, Bachelor of Education, and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Jammu, India, along with a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification in Alberta. I have also completed a wide range of professional training including certifications in Montessori Early Childhood Education, Infant-Toddler Care, Food Safety, First Aid with CPR/AED, and specialized workshops on phonetic reading, learning letters, and health and safety practices. These qualifications reflect my passion for continuous learning and my commitment to providing the highest quality care and education.

My teaching journey has included roles at Montessori Children’s House Academy, Kids & Company, and Fueling Brains Academy in Calgary. These experiences have shaped my philosophy of education—one that prioritizes respect, independence, creativity, and whole-child development. I take pride in my ability to foster meaningful connections with both children and families, helping every child feel confident, capable, and supported.

At Creative Corner Montessori, I aim to provide a calm, enriched, and stimulating space where children can grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually. I believe in the power of child-led learning and strive to make each day purposeful, playful, and full of discovery.
